We’re excited that you've scheduled a free marketing consultation with CITRUS. We know your time is valuable. For a productive and efficient first meeting, here are some things to think about or to have ready before we meet.
Ask yourself these questions:
What goals are you trying to accomplish with your marketing?
Generate leads? Sell your product or services? Build brand equity? Website traffic? Foot Traffic?
If any, what sort of marketing have you done?
Is what you are currently doing effective? What factors drive your current or previous marketing initiatives? How did you measure the success of your campaigns?
Who is your competition and what do they do better than you?
What makes you better than your main competition? From your customer's perspective what differentiates you from their other options?
What does your ideal customer look like?
What kind of customers does your business serve? Can you think of an actual real-life customer that you wish you could just duplicate? What characteristics make them unique?
How much are you willing to invest in your marketing?
While percentage spends vary widely, the SBA recommends that small businesses invest 7-8% of their gross revenue for marketing and advertising.
When it's time for our meeting:
Find a quiet and well lit place to meet.
Use a computer like a desktop or laptop with a webcam.
Grab a coffee or some tea and get comfy. Consultation times usually range from 45 to 60 minutes.
